Job Title:            Social Service Director

Salary:                  $55,000.00 Plus Benefits

Position Description: The Social Service Director will work closely with the District Attorney, Sheriff, Lauderdale County Detention Center Director and other county officials to develop and implement a program to provide thorough assessment and treatment service to incarcerated individuals as well as provide aftercare/discharge planning with the goal of successfully reacclimating inmate to the community and reducing recidivism.  Master’s Degree Preferred.

Requirements:         Must be able to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing). Computer efficiency with good typing and math skills is required. Must have accounting experience.

Education:              Masters degree preferred
