Office or Agent is filed ONLY with Secretary of State<\/p>\n<p><strong>UCC's<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All UCC's must be typed<\/p>\n<p>UCC Financing Statements and Continuations (1 or 2 pages) - $25.00 &amp; $2.00 per additional page over 2.<\/p>\n<p>UCC Assignments, Amendments, Subordination and Partial Releases (1 or 2 pages) - $20.00 &amp; $2.00 per additional page over 2.<\/p>\n<p>UCC Terminations \u2013 no charge<\/p>\n<p>Need the most recent UCC #<\/p>\n<p>Note:\u00a0 Mortgage Tax due on amount of indebtedness<\/p>\n<p>Each additional name $1.00<\/p>\n<p>Cross index in real estate $1.00<\/p>\n<p>Non-standard form fee $5.00<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our recording fees as of October 1, 2008 are listed below:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Deeds<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$16.00 for the first page and $3.00 each additional page plus deed tax<br \/>\n<\/span><b>Mortgage<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$16.00 for the first page and $3.00 each additional page plus mortgage tax<br \/>\n<\/span><b>Miscellaneous<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$11.00 for the first page and $3.00 each additional page. This includes\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Judgements, Affidavits, Assignments, Releases, Liens, Agreements, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additional recording fee on deeds and mortgages when there are more than two grantors or grantees\/mortgagors or mortgagees are $1.00 per extra name over two. This also includes AKA, FKA, KNA, WTTA and any other way a name is to be indexed. This is on deeds and mortgages only!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tax Exempted instruments have a $1.00 no tax fee<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Certified Copies<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$3.00 for the certification and $1.00 per page<br \/>\n<\/span><b>Deed Tax<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$.50 per $500.00<br \/>\n<\/span><b>Mortgage Tax<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$.15 per $100.00<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Please check and be sure the instruments to be recorded have:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Purchase price or today\u2019s value on the deed<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Name and address of person who prepared the instrument<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instruments are notarized and include the notary date of expiration<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instruments are in correct order to be recorded<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The check is for correct amount and signed<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instruments have correct person or company to be returned to after recording<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mailed instruments have self-addressed stamped envelopes to return recorded documents in<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Includes the Exhibits and they are legible<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lauderdale County property<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Corrective deeds must have it stated on the instrument what is being corrected<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Releases have book and page of instrument being released<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We record originals only, no copies<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No highlighting on documents to be recorded<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Every Deed must have a Real Estate Sales Validation Form filled out completely, signed and dated.
